In response to the previous review where the gentleman had the issue with a lady and man that were helping him that were rude that was not our location. We have never had a woman working for us in our shop. The only people that have ever worked at my shop are myself (store owner), my father, and a longtime family friend. My father and friend have over 40 years of knowledge each in Civil War related items and would never treated anyone without respect when they have questions. We are sorry you had a bad experience but I do believe that the location you may be trying to review was next door to us which is owned by a lady and the Civil War guy over there is a man. Thank you.
Well I went in excited to see that they actually have some civil war items they I may have been interested in mainly Glass items I began to ask the lady about an item and she understandably didn't know anything about it but instead she directed a gentleman's attention to the piece and he was completely rude about it like I was not good enough to be asking questions about his item and when I tried to ask him why it was so "RARE" in his eyes and if it had a feature known as a "Pontil" (Where the Glass Blower Snapped the Pipe on a Bottle) he basically shrugged me off and ignored me saying he doesn't know what that is and its just rare because it was from the civil war.
RUDE . IF YOU WANT FRIENDLY CUSTOMER SERVICE THEN I WOULDN'T GO HERE!
These guys are always helpful and friendly. Alot of really interesting things to check out. Definitely worth the trip!
